More Nine!

More Nine, this time with a stuffed magicarp, though I never really liked it that much and honestly can live without gyrados(that's Pokemon terminoligy for those who don't know). Nintendo's shaped an awful lot of my life. I don't think I could ever see myself not playing something devised by demi-god Miamoto. Speaking of which, Super Smash Bros Brawl Ultimate Tournament on Saturday. I'm going. Are you?!

On a sadder note, Gary Gygax got called back home on Tuesday. I'm not really sure what to say about this, except it makes me sad. Especially since D n' D is/was/will be a HUGE part of my life. When I was very little, I was attracted to the art sprawled across the books and used to annoy my brothers as they sat with their friends in the basement playing on weekends. Eventually I was allowed to play as well, and Lord it was fun. I had a couple of characters. A dwarf cleric(who was run over by a wagon when I wouldn't stop pestering Garth[older brother and unfortunately for me at the time, DM]), a half-elf cleric(permanently poly-morphed into a horse and the mount for my other brother's evil elf-hating mage) and the one character who never died, a chaotic-neutral kobold thief named Krunn. He had amazing luck and a habit of always switching to the winning side. Good times.
