Character Evolution of a Protagonist

Alrighty then, the main protagonist of the story has been a bit tricky to actually get down. Her name is Deela Kilrist, an altruistic gal raised away from the rest of society by mishap of events. Her father saved a dragon village from certain doom but died in the process, and her mother gave up on life after Dee's birth not long after her father died. So Deela was named and raised by the dragons of said village. Very strong in the ways of magic, and has quite a few ideals and grand ideas that only someone raised away from society would actually ever have. Makes it fun when she interacts with someone very used to the fact that the world sometimes absolutely sucks boiled eggs. Like Torque.

Originally, Deela's design was very boyish. Her weapons were also a sword and shield. Both discarded. The sword and shield were tossed because, well, it's not in Dee's nature to attack. Period. She's exceptionally passive and magic is a much better deterant than something with a pointy blade in the means of not lending out ouchies. The boyish appearance was tossed because its more of an inside joke than anything, and well, a kickass cutie pie just kicks more tail. Original design seen below.

As you can see, almost everything from here has been tossed. I've kept the ribbon headband. Ribbon headbands are nifty, if you can get em to stay.

Anyway, down below is one of Deela's outfits from her life in the dragon village. The dragons had NO clue what to do with her, not being used to squealing little pink chubby things that can't announce their own name at birth, let alone need to be clothed. So, of course as fashion goes, the dragons made her something they consider 'desirable'. Its a joke about princesses being desirable to a dragon, so Dee's outfits from that village tend to make her look like a slutty princess.
Heh, I always feel a little proud looking at that. Anyhoo, Dee's FINAL design is below here. The clothes she wears out of the village get destroyed almost immediately as she sets out into the world, and she has pretty much the first chance ever to clothe herself. I decided to do something kinda pretty, but it still looks like she fell into a shop and went 'TADAH!'.

She's a little too skinny here, but close! Oh yes so close. Dwee.^^ Sword and shield replaced by that charm on her left arm. She's not as good at magic as her teachers, so she uses it as a crutch to help her concentrate while casting.
So huzzoo! That's the last of the members of the protagonists. Yay!
