Talous

This one posed a bit of a challenge for me.

This is a drawing for fellow BK bunn Talous. Talous commissioned me for a picture of his avatar, and was very distinct in saying that he was a boy, 'no lady parts'. But then his bunny was in a pink dress with a pink rose in its hair with a pink rose in hand. So I mused over this for a while. Should I transmogrify the dress into some kind of pink leisure suit? Should I negate the roses? In the end, I decided this wouldn't be fair. Talous had asked for a drawing of his current avatar and darn it I was going to give it to him! After a few different poses, I came up with this one.

Also, the skin that was on this particular avatar was one that depicted a midnight scene, i.e. different shades of blue plus stars. Now, I did try to recreate the star effect on this bunny, but discarded it. Confused the eye a bit too much for my tastes. So I compensated with the very shiny blue hair.

Edit: Most of the time I'm drawing, I'm listening to something. I've got quite a library, from either borrowing music or my own collection. It helps me get the mood and tone of a piece out if I have apropos music in my ears.
