Commissionary fun

WHEW! So one birthday(Happy B-Day AJ! You're 20! Muwahahaa!), one doosey of a headache(unfortunately I get migraines and this one was a baddie) and I'm back. Lots of attention I'm attracting from my little bunny shop. Hoo hah! I've got quite a few to do, majority of them being full character drawings. Today, the showcase contains one new customer and one repeat: Rachens and Cybunny.

Below is Rachens:

BK avatar. I've actually drawn her twice before, this one being the third time. But this is also the very first full bunn picture, which she specifically requested.

Fun Fact: Rachens asked me to draw the hair the same way she had drawn in her own picture. Squee! And I drew this while listening to Goldfrapp-Utopia.

And Cy! This is the human form of her rose dragon. She asked me to design the whole look! Squee!! I love getting requests like this. The only stipulations she made were that she looked 17, no white face, make sure the accoutrements from the dragon were on the human form(rose, horns, ears, wings and tail), and that whatever she wore was red. I tried to make this form as 'accurate' as I could to what I was discerning her dragon's character is.

Fun double fact: A lot of times I draw my dragons with their eyes closed. This is because of an old Chinese dragon legend about drawing eyes on these creatures; basically if you draw a dragon's eyes you have a chance of actually DRAWING the beast to life. Neat huh? One of my favorite superstitions. <3
