Don't make witches angry
Which witch is which? This witch is Amanda! And OC of Cybunny. Yarp, another commission, in time for the season which is at hand. She gave me the look, and I gave her the pose. Muwah. That phrase isn't my own, by the by. I got that from 'Witch Girl Adventures', which is apparently now a tabletop! SCORE! I got a link on the side there. You should check it out. Totally.

Nervouuuuussss
Augh, October-November means deadlines. Deadlines mean panic. Panic means ARTISTICALLY SNAFU'd.
Seriously though. Unless something gives me a sign, I'm sweating some major bullets here. Its all within my grasp yet out of reach!

Also, I highly don't recommend using a laundry matt on a weekend.

I blame Amano
Drew this of my bunn for relieving some stress from getting stuck on the Dr. Lugae fight in FF4 in the already infuriating Tower of Babil(doesn't matter what version; that place still sucks worse than an industrial strength vacuum). Beat him finally, but my GOD I hate that boss. Reversal gas sucks. At least you can ensuna zombie status. I mean seriously. And of all times, Kain decides to miss four times in a row so he dies instead of healing himself. *grumbles*
Anyhoo, drawing. I likes. I'm calling it a squishie. Mostly because its nice and skooshie looking. Off to color!

Bunns of Fun
Did I mention I love commissions? This was commissioned by Chobits for a friend of hers! Now I feel famous. =3 She wanted a picture of her bunnies. And my ho my, they were the cutiest little muffins you ever did see! The gray one immediately caught my eye because he had this lion's mane thing going on. Anyway, I was told 'however you please, just cute'. I'd say that's cute!Drawn to Yoshida Brothers-Gales of Wind(Hayate)

Heart and lost phones

I also drew Sydalicious a while back, but forgot to post:

Nice lil' doodillies. Fun little break to take. My oh my I didn't think I would get so many commissions! Not to say that I don't like it. I LOVE it! I just didn't realize how receptive and even appreciative people would be of my style. I eh, well lets just say, growing up I was severely sensitive and a lot of feedback I took toward a more negative side. Its nice to see that once again, me thinking that no one really liked my drawings was another case of me being overtly critical and needing to BREATHE.
Oh oh oh and I got some awesome arts from Tandimonium(read: awesome!) of my own bunn that I love. I wasn't lying. Nymine is a streaker. =3 And Scaly and I have been talking about a collab! HUZZAH life is good! Now I just need my job to call....
And speaking of calls!
Well, apparently, my Dad forgot his cell phone in Illinois. A truck driver called me(!) and let me know he was taking it to a spot where my Dad could pick it up. Well, Lordy Loo, I'm not sure how I can get a hold of him. After all, his phone is so mobile, it's traveling without him! But I sent him an email and my Uncle who should at least know Pops is going to be up in that neck of the woods soon anyway. SO the wandering phone can hopefully wander back to him.
Tho knowing Dad, he'll just buy a new one.
ADDENDUM: Yup, he bought himself another phone. OH, I'm so good!

Joao's Dragons

Commission from Miss Chobits, this time for her brother. He saw her dragon and absolutely loved it, so she asked me to draw two dragons intwined in a suedo yin-yang. Its a surprise for him. So SHHHH! Don't spoil the surprise!!
Was a lot of fun to do! Chobits was a little hesitant to ask me to draw more dragons. And its true; a lot of the work I've been posting on Bunny Kingdom as samples have been devoid of draconic influence, but let me tell you: I've long had a love affair with dragons. But I'll also admit, some bad reactions and hurtful hazing a few years ago almost made me abandon them.
Oh, am I so glad I didn't! In all honesty, I probably wouldn't have even gone back to flirting with them if it hadn't been for Cybunny and her discovery of the beautiful creatures and having no one to talk to. From the bottom of my heart Cy, THANK YOU!
Its nice, looking through my little commission folder, a good chunk of the things people have been asking for are my scalie little love muffins.

Romero, Vampire Prince
This was drawing no. 1. But Miss Scaly asked for action, and while I believe I got his personality, he really wasn't in too much of a hurry to do anything. So I went ahead and did what's below.
Personally, I love both of these to death. It's a nice little counter balance. Romero is very proper, very blue-blooded 'I'm better than you because I was born that way', but when the fighting starts, he enjoys it just like someone so low their blood isn't 'clean'(Khord the half blood). Yay!

Gypsie

This is a commission for Miss Cybunny. Her beautiful dragon OC Gypsie. This was the original I worked off of. My goodness! Cy never fails to amaze me with the beauty and grace of her dragons, and I was just pleased as punch she was giving me a crack at this beautiful gal.
I'll be honest, the coloring was a bit of a challenge for me, especially since I've been forcing myself to do flash. Madame Gypsie is peacock colored, doncha know, and doing the beautiful fades and bright colors that peacocks are so known for is a little daunting in a program like Flash. After some tinkering, above is what I came up with, and I'm rather pleased with the technicolor look I got out of it.

Sketch dump part I forgot
A bunch of faekin and a dwaggy waggon! He's blowing you a smoke heart! Awww. The thing on the far left is a boggle. A boggle is similar to a boggart or a bogey. Basically a mischevious malicious entity that messes with people.
Above it is a noggle/kelpie. Not sure which. Basically, those are mischevious water spirits that take the form of slightly mugly horses that, when attempted to be ridden, will dash towards the water at break neck speed. Guess they think that's funny.
Next to him is a quickly doodled fairy, and next to him is a goblin. Their noses are fun to draw.
Chobits' dragon

Wowie wow wow. This one took quite a long time to do! This was a commission for Miss Chobits from BK. She asked for a girl with black and white hair and a pretty white dress to be riding a big yellow dragon, European in style. Now, this dragon is a LOT bigger. I drew the feet and all the tail that would fit on the screen, but decided I didn't like them(plus the picture is a LOT bigger with them in; didn't want to sacrifice the girl too much you know?). Lovely, lovely commission.
I love dragons so dern much. I usually don't scale them though. Long long long process, but oh, I think it was worth it.

Character reinvention hoo!

Part 2 of Miss Attackat's 3 part commission. This here is a reinterpretation of her character, Talous. She wasn't very happy with her original design, so I was given a lot of liberty with drawing him, except for the long-ish black hair, and the green-tinted goggles. And she let me steampunk him. Oh how I love steampunk. I'm a Sci-fi geek and a history buff at heart, so the preindustrial period with titanic Ford-esque rickety robots and space colonies makes my heart go all a-twitter!
So yeh, turtleneck and obligitary 'I am not a careful boy' face bandages. And a stylin' jacket. Wewt!
Drawn to Old Boy-The Last Waltz
::Just a second regarding the music::
Holy cow! The Last Waltz is absolutely beautiful(found it on a rotation site; am definately going to scrounge up what CD this belongs to when I have the means to buy it. Think it comes from a movie). And the amazing thing is that its a waltz showcasing a clarinet(for those of you who have nothing to do with a traditional band, clarinets, unless the musician is very good at that instrument, largely sound like a strangled goose and should only be played with a thick dishtowel shoved up the end where the sound comes out), and its just so....beautiful. I spent every school year I could in band until my Mother demanded I got braces and ruined my mouth so I had no chance to play my trumpet anymore(not bitter, its just the truth; went from second chair{and I could have easily knocked Josh out of first hee; I just prefer harmony to melody. PLUS I got to play the Flugle horn!} advanced band to last chair reject band and that was probably pity on my band teacher's part; I tried and tried to practice to get back what was ruined; never happened). Long story short, I absolutely love classic music and its a shame some circles pooh-pooh it. And there are so many flavors to it! My personal favorite classic period is Romantic.
Who knows? Maybe once I get all my ducks in a row I'll wander back down the road to my first flirtation with music and pick up a viola again.

Ghostly beauty

First part of a 3 part commission requested by Miss Attackat. She asked for a rendition of her avatar, this time sporting the fab ghost skin Anand made for the upcoming witching hour(you know, Halloween?{Happy Early Birthday Grandaddy and Taylor you little munchkin!}). And she requested that I made her look like a factual ghost. A little tricky since I've been doing this all in Flash(darh to be diffurnt, I say!). So, I tried something out and am SO glad I did; this came out just fantabulous.
I drew the bunn in Flash per usual. Saved, exported as a PNG. A PNG format here is key, at least it is for me. See, PNGs are like GIFs cuz they can have transparent BGs. But unlike GIFs the quality doesn't suck. /end session of pushing the PNG format. Then I drew the background. Same process. Then I imported the whole thing into Photoshop. Pulled the bunny into the background, and copied the bunny's layer 3 times. Put the middle layer on 'Lighten' and popped her down to about 75% opacity or so. Top layer was Gaussian blurred and set on screen. Bottom layer was Motion blurred and set on darken. Muwah. Magnifico.

Something poetic about clouds
And the final commission for today! Beadycake! In the panda skin, which is apparently pretty hard to get. Seen a lot of bunns wanting this one. You know, maybe I should start nosing around for the harder to get items? Maybe. Anyhoodle, this turned out really, really, REALLY good! I'm especially fond of the wings(they're based off of my favorite kind of butterfly! squee!) I'm also particuarly fond of the little squiggle cloud puffs.Drawn to Clazziquai-Salesman

Curiouser and curiouser!
Commission for MCR_gurlluv. Made her avatar bunn(bunnatar?avatunny?) look like Alice and asked to have the Cheshire Cat with her. Made THIS kitty not quite so creepy. Now he's just smug! Like all cats....Once again, I'm not a cat gal; I honestly don't see why people fawn over them. I mean, you love 'em, you feed 'em, you take good care of them and what do you get in return? A fuzzy ball of razorblades and spite that will hate you until the end of your days. I love those little fish loving monsters to death, don't get me wrong. The affection is just never returned! Remind me and sometime I'll recount how I was servant to a very stuffy Siamese seal-tip.
Mush

Another commission! This is Baby_Mushroom, and her super awesome avatar. I had a lot of fun drawing the wings. And the hair. Truth be told, her bunn was wearing a hoodie with a spiderweb on it. I got a little creative and morphed it into long black hair with a spider veil. Mush picks some beautiful outfits; this one's probably one of my favorites that I've seen on her bunn. So far anyway.^.^
SO, anyway, I've been toying with the idea of selling art still(scandalous!). At least for gas money or something while I still hunt for the elusive job(put out a lot of apps, no responses; this week I shalt Bug(tm) the places I've applied to). Thinking of a Deviant shop. Anyone out there with experience with this? Good idea? Bad idea? Pros, cons, kumquat?
