Ghostly beauty

First part of a 3 part commission requested by Miss Attackat. She asked for a rendition of her avatar, this time sporting the fab ghost skin Anand made for the upcoming witching hour(you know, Halloween?{Happy Early Birthday Grandaddy and Taylor you little munchkin!}). And she requested that I made her look like a factual ghost. A little tricky since I've been doing this all in Flash(darh to be diffurnt, I say!). So, I tried something out and am SO glad I did; this came out just fantabulous.

I drew the bunn in Flash per usual. Saved, exported as a PNG. A PNG format here is key, at least it is for me. See, PNGs are like GIFs cuz they can have transparent BGs. But unlike GIFs the quality doesn't suck. /end session of pushing the PNG format. Then I drew the background. Same process. Then I imported the whole thing into Photoshop. Pulled the bunny into the background, and copied the bunny's layer 3 times. Put the middle layer on 'Lighten' and popped her down to about 75% opacity or so. Top layer was Gaussian blurred and set on screen. Bottom layer was Motion blurred and set on darken. Muwah. Magnifico.

On to parts 2 and 3!
